Welcome to Legalancer, LLC (“Legalancer,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website and software-as-a-service platform located at www.legalancer.com (the “Site”) and any related applications (collectively, the “Service”).

By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

1. Who We Are

Legalancer, LLC is a Washington State limited liability company providing a cloud-based platform for legal support businesses, including tools for legal transcription, court reporting workflows, and client management.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding contracts to use the Service.

3. Accounts and User Roles

To access the Service, you must register for an account. Multiple user roles exist, including but not limited to administrators, contractors, and clients. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

  • You agree to provide accurate information and update it as needed.

  • You agree to maintain the security of your login credentials.

  • You may not share or publicly distribute content or access without our consent.

4. Subscription and Payment

  • Legalancer offers annual contracts billed monthly via Stripe.

  • By subscribing, you agree to a 12-month minimum commitment.

  • Early cancellation does not relieve you of your obligation to pay for the full 12-month term.

  • After the first 12 months, your subscription will convert to a month-to-month plan, which you may cancel at any time.

  • All fees are non-refundable except as required by law.

5. Trials and Demos

We may offer limited free trials or demos. Trials are for evaluation only and subject to these Terms.

6. Data Ownership and Content

  • You retain ownership of all data you upload or create on the platform.

  • You grant us a limited license to use your data solely for operating and improving the Service.

  • We do not use your data for AI training, commercial resell, or marketing without your explicit consent.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for unlawful or harmful activities

  • Attempt to breach our systems or access other users’ data

  • Upload malware or attempt to disrupt the Service

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

8. Privacy and Data Collection

We collect and process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. This includes:

  • Names, email addresses, and business contact details

  • Usage data and analytics (via tools like Google Analytics and ActiveCampaign)

We use encryption in transit and at rest, and offer two-factor authentication for security.

9. Third-Party Services

The Service may integrate with or link to third-party tools (e.g., Stripe, Google Analytics). We are not responsible for the content or practices of those services.

10. Intellectual Property

All software, branding, and content provided by Legalancer are our intellectual property or licensed to us. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, or distribute any part of the Service without written permission.

11. Disclaimers

  • The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.”

  • We make no warranties regarding availability, accuracy, or suitability for your use.

  • We are not responsible for errors in user-generated or uploaded content.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Legalancer is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including data loss or business interruption.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your access will be revoked, but your payment obligations (if under contract) remain.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Pierce County, Washington.
